High resolution ceramic digital printed glass is a decorative safety glass solution for projects that need clear patterns, durable color and a smooth architectural finish. Wensheng produces custom printed tempered glass by applying ceramic ink to the glass surface and then firing the panel through a tempering furnace, so the design becomes part of the glass instead of a simple surface coating.

Compared with ordinary film printing or short-term decorative printing, ceramic digital printing glass is better suited for building projects, commercial interiors and long service environments. The pattern can be adjusted from simple dots and lines to full-color images, brand graphics, stone texture, gradient shading and privacy designs. It helps designers create glass that is not only transparent or opaque, but also decorative, functional and project-specific.

Digital Printing Process

The production starts with confirmed artwork, glass size and installation drawings. The glass is cut to size, polished on the edges and processed with any required holes or notches before printing. Ceramic ink is printed directly onto the glass by digital equipment, allowing more flexible artwork than traditional screen printing, especially for small batches, complex images or designs with many colors.

After printing, the panel is tempered at high temperature. During this stage, the ceramic ink bonds with the glass surface and the glass gains the strength of tempered safety glass. This process gives the printed pattern better resistance to UV exposure, scratches, humidity and normal cleaning chemicals. For projects that require extra safety, the printed tempered glass can also be laminated with PVB, SGP or other interlayers.

Design Options and Applications

High resolution digital printed glass can be customized for different visual effects. Designers can choose full coverage printing, partial printing, gradient privacy patterns, ceramic frit dots, logo printing, decorative images or color blocks. The glass can remain bright and easy to clean while adding privacy, shading or brand identity to the space.

Typical applications include glass facades, interior partitions, hotel and office decoration, glass doors, balustrades, wall cladding, elevator panels, shower screens, furniture glass and signage. Glass Structure and Custom Processing

The printed glass can be supplied as monolithic tempered glass, laminated tempered glass or insulating glass units. Clear glass, ultra clear low iron glass, tinted glass and acid etched glass can be selected according to the final color requirement. For high-end images or light-color patterns, ultra clear glass is often recommended because it reduces the green tone of ordinary float glass.

Custom processing may include polished edges, safety corners, drilled holes, cut-outs, countersunk holes and special packing marks. All mechanical processing should be completed before tempering, so final drawings must be checked carefully before production.
