Custom Heat Strengthened Glass For Facades Windows And Laminated Safety Projects

Product Advantages
Heat strengthened glass is produced through controlled heating and cooling to create a stronger panel than ordinary annealed glass while keeping a different breakage behavior from fully tempered glass. It is widely used for architectural glazing, laminated safety glass and facade projects that require stable strength and good flatness.

Higher strength than annealed glass: suitable for larger building glass panels and areas exposed to wind load or temperature change.

Good thermal stress resistance: helps reduce the risk of breakage caused by solar heat, shade lines or climate variation.

Ideal for laminated structures: heat strengthened glass is often laminated for facades, skylights, railings and public building safety glazing.

Clean architectural appearance: careful processing helps maintain visual clarity, edge quality and stable panel dimensions.

Custom project processing: sizes, thicknesses, holes, polished edges and shapes can be made according to drawings before heat treatment.

Character of Heat Strengthened Glass

Not without problems self-explosion

It has flatter floor than tempered glass.

Heat bolstered glass is about twice as robust as annealed glass of the identical dimension and thickness.

When broken, the glass fragments are extra comparable in dimension and form to annealed glass fragments and therefore tend to remain in the opening longer than completely tempered glass particles.
